Description
Rigel is one of the few surviving rabbits from a massive backyard confiscation by Metro Animal Services. Over 80 rabbits were processed through their shelter, most were euthanized on intake because of illness or injury. The few who were able to be saved have made tremendous progress in adapting to their new life, and they need to find homes with kind and gentle caregivers to help them make the final transition from unloved and unwanted to treasured companion and house rabbit. If you feel in your heart that you would like to help them find their way home, please consider adopting one of these precious survivors. Rigel seems like an old soul; he's reserved and dignified, gentle and slow moving like Eeyore. When strangers are near he tends to hide in his box due to his extreme shyness, but when he feels safe he is truly a dear rabbit and enjoys his new peaceful life, knowing he's finally safe from the dangers of the yard.
