Description
Hawkbit is one of the few surviving rabbits from a massive backyard confiscation by Metro Animal Services. Over 80 rabbits were processed through their shelter, most were euthanized on intake because of illness or injury. The few who were able to be saved have made tremendous progress in adapting to their new life, and they need to find homes with kind and gentle caregivers to help them make the final transition from unloved and unwanted to treasured companion and house rabbit. If you feel in your heart that you would like to help them find their way home, please consider adopting one of these precious survivors. Hawk is growing in confidence everyday, he's an easy-going all around nice bunny. He enjoys rearranging his cage, remodeling his box, and showing off for the girls when he's on freerun time. Hawk was one of the the first to learn that "home home" meant it was time to go back to his cage, and he seems to enjoy knowing what is expected of him.
