Bunny Rabbit - Medium - Adult - Male - Rabbit - Acorn
Acorn is one of the few surviving rabbits from a massive backyard confiscation by Metro Animal Services. Over 80 rabbits were processed through their shelter, most were euthanized on intake because of illness or injury. The few who were able to be saved have made tremendous progress in adapting to their new life, and they need to find homes with kind and gentle caregivers to help them make the final transition from unloved and unwanted to treasured companion and house rabbit. If you feel in your heart that you would like to help them find their way home, please consider adopting one of these precious survivors. Acorn's ears are badly torn from the fighting in the yard, but he has the soul of a poet. He is a gentle rabbit, and will let you see his ornery side when he feels safe with you. He loves to show his exuberance with fast runs around the rabbit room and wild springs in the air, and sometimes when prompted will lift his face up so you can kiss his nose.
