Pug - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Buster
Description
We'd like to introduce you to Buster (# 490). Buster is approximately 5-6 years old. Before coming to KPR, Buster was a homeless pug found wandering the Indiana Toll Road. Buster is very lucky that he was picked up by some kind people that took him to their vet. Buster was very thin and hadto have both eyes removed, which was ok because he couldn't see out of his eyes and they were causing him a great deal of pain. Buster's foster home is working on getting him to a proper weight. Thanks to KPR, Buster is now healthy and getting lots and lots of TLC. Buster is devoted to his foster mom and since he is newly blind, he depends on her and clings to her when possible. She is working with him on housetraining and indicates that he is paper trained. We think that once Buster feels settled and gets used to his new routine his housetraining will come along quite well as his foster mom says he is very intelligent. Buster would make a loving and devoted companion for some lucky person and would fare well in a home with another animal companion. He enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster mom and is a good natured, gentle boy. Buster was a hard luck puggy, but he's got a bright future ahead of him. Adoption Donation - $225 Click here to fill out an adoption application. KPR can NOT answer any questions about a Pug until you have an approved application on file. This is due to the high volume of inquiries we receive. We are all volunteers who are very busy rescuing, caring for and transporting the rescued Pugs. We do NOT have a central facility where you can visit our rescued Pugs. Our Pugs live in foster homes, where they are observed, evaluated and cared for until we find their ideal adoptive family. KPR serves the states of Kentucky and Indiana. ( Permit No. P08-001703 ) If you are outside of those states, please feel free to visit Pug Rescue Links for a rescue that serves your area. An Adoption Application must be completed before you can be considered as an adoptive home for any Pug...there are no exceptions. The adoption application helps us assist you in finding the perfect Pug for your family. If there is a particular Pug you are interested in, you may make a note of that on the Adoption Application. All Pugs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on routine vaccinations, Fecal tested, and Heartworm Negative prior to placement. Our Adoption Donation fees, although they do not completely cover these costs, do help. Also, although we do provide the medical treatment and testing listed above before a pug is adopted...please remember, as all our Pugs are rescues, there is NO guarantee of physical condition.
