Pug - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Kachy and Simon
Description
Kachy (# 850) and Simon (# 851) are a pair of bonded pugs that must be adopted together. Kachy is a 5.5-year old female pug that absolutely adores her 2.5-year old brother Simon -- so much that she never lets him out of her sight. Like your typical pug, this pair is crazy about human contact. They are crated while their foster parents are at work and sleep in bed with them and three other pugs at night. Both dogs are housebroken and enjoy their privacy during feeding time. Simon loves playing with all the other dogs in the house, but Kachy prefers Simon more. She does tolerate the other dogs, but she doesn't like the other dogs getting within her "bubble" (her "bubble" consist of mostly facial area). Once the other dogs figure that out, she is fine. Their foster home thinks they are truly wonderful pugs and they are very happy to have them in their home. Adoption Donation - $400 Click here to fill out an adoption application. KPR can NOT answer any questions about a Pug until you have an approved application on file. This is due to the high volume of inquiries we receive. We are all volunteers who are very busy rescuing, caring for and transporting the rescued Pugs. We do NOT have a central facility where you can visit our rescued Pugs. Our Pugs live in foster homes, where they are observed, evaluated and cared for until we find their ideal adoptive family. KPR serves the states of Kentucky and Indiana. ( Permit No. P08-001703 ) If you are outside of those states, please feel free to visit Pug Rescue Links for a rescue that serves your area. An Adoption Application must be completed before you can be considered as an adoptive home for any Pug...there are no exceptions. The adoption application helps us assist you in finding the perfect Pug for your family. If there is a particular Pug you are interested in, you may make a note of that on the Adoption Application. All Pugs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on routine vaccinations, Fecal tested, and Heartworm Negative prior to placement. Our Adoption Donation fees, although they do not completely cover these costs, do help. Also, although we do provide the medical treatment and testing listed above before a pug is adopted...please remember, as all our Pugs are rescues, there is NO guarantee of physical condition.
