William Thomason BywayLeitchfield, KY  42754Shelter hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 to 1:30 (central time zone)A comment from a volunteer:  I like this dog very much.  Everyone is taking her on walks and she puts her head up and just struts around like she owns the place. She is very interested in the dogs out in the field, very smart and alert. You coax the blues right out of the horn, Mame,You charm the husk right off of the corn, Mame,You've got that banjoes strummin'And plunkin' out a tune to beat the band,The volunteers here at the shelter gave me the name Mame, I guess because I remind them of that song.  I was picked up by animal control and brought to the shelter after hours -- I guess I was lost, but no one has come to find me.  These people don't know my real age (and of course I'll never tell) simply because my teeth are in pretty bad shape.  I have a more mature, dignified look in my face, but I can still kick up my heels if the occasion calls for it.
