William Thomason BywayLeitchfield, KY  42754Shelter hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 to 1:30 (central time zone) Hi, my name is Maid Maleen, a lovely girl calico kittie (short coat), about two years old. I came into the shelter with my two beautiful children, Hansel and Gretel (now adopted), scorned and cast off by a person who cried, not for us but for herself. Like the Maid Maleen in the Brothers Grimm faily tale, my early life was not a happy one, and I have the scars to prove it. Like the true princess I am, I remain sweet and kind and full of love, and like the Maid Maleen kept prisoner in the tower, I wait for my escape to your home. Can't you see the golden necklace around my neck, proof of my love for my intended? That's you, of course, so please come for me so very soon, and feel our love grow strong. Unlike the princess in the fairy tale, I don't have a lot of time to wait in this very crowded tower (shelter). Please know I'll be spayed and have shots too, before I spend my life with you.
